TheHeyGears UltraCraft Reflex Turbo is a professional desktop MSLA resin 3D printer designed for high-detail prototypes, presentation models, functional parts, transparent components, tooling, miniatures, and small-batch production.
Combining a 9.25-inch Amber Screen, a 385+ nm TrueUV light source, a 33 m native XY pixel size, and a 191 121 220 mm build volume, the Reflex Turbo delivers precise and repeatable results while reducing the manual setup normally required by resin 3D printing.
Its integrated workflow includes automatic leveling, resin heating, resin level detection, automatic refilling, peeling-force monitoring, residue detection, adaptive exposure strategies, and long-term light-intensity compensation.
The upgraded Amber Screen provides improved contrast for cleaner edges, small holes, thin walls, and fine surface details.
According to HeyGears laboratory data, the Amber Screen offers:
Approximately 22% higher contrast
Up to 2.5 times longer service life than the previous screen
Improved UV resistance and long-term print consistency
The proprietary 385+ nm UV light source is optimized for HeyGears UltraPrint materials and provides more effective curing than conventional 405 nm systems.
It supports a broad range of material properties, including:
High-detail modeling
Transparent components
Flexible and elastic parts
Heat-resistant prototypes
Rigid engineering parts
Castable patterns
Material compatibility and required accessories vary by resin.
The Reflex Turbo combines a native XY pixel size of 33 m with manufacturer-stated printing accuracy of 16 m, making it suitable for detailed surfaces, precise assemblies, small features, and dimension-sensitive prototypes.
In HeyGears laboratory testing:
Features as small as 0.136 mm were printed using PAP10 resin
90.6% of measured printed surfaces achieved a tolerance of 0.05 mm or less
Results depend on the model, resin, orientation, support strategy, post-processing, and measurement method.
The floating-screen system automatically compensates for platform and screen alignment differences, eliminating the need for traditional manual paper leveling.
It can compensate for gaps of up to 240 m, helping maintain consistent first-layer adhesion across the build area.
The integrated resin-management system detects the remaining resin quantity with an accuracy of approximately 5 g.
Compatible resin bottles can automatically supply additional material:
Before printing
During long print jobs
When the resin level becomes low
This reduces manual supervision and makes the printer more suitable for large models and continuous production.
The heated resin tray can raise resin temperature from approximately 10C to 22C in around 20 minutes and maintain the target temperature during printing.
Controlled resin temperature helps stabilize:
Resin viscosity
Material flow
Layer separation
Exposure performance
Dimensional consistency
This is particularly useful in colder workspaces and when printing higher-viscosity engineering materials.
Integrated force sensors monitor the printing process with a sensitivity of approximately 0.1 N.
The system can detect resin residue as small as approximately 0.2 mm and automatically stop when residue or an abnormal printing condition is detected.
This helps reduce the risk of cured debris being pressed into the release film or LCD screen.
The Reflex Turbo monitors layer-separation forces throughout the print.
The printer adjusts movement behavior according to the model geometry and current layer, helping reduce failures caused by:
Large cross-sections
Sudden changes in layer area
Dense model layouts
Complex support structures
High-viscosity materials
Instead of applying one exposure strategy to the entire layer, the Reflex Turbo can identify and process different regions independently, including:
Support structures
External shells
Internal shells
Fine surface features
This helps balance support strength, surface hardness, detail restoration, and dimensional accuracy.
Material-specific process packages can apply adaptive Z-axis compensation based on factors such as:
Model angle
Hole size
Edge type
Material properties
Support contact surfaces
HeyGears states that the system supports up to 180 combinations of compensation settings.
Dynamic Motion Algorithm 3.0 evaluates each layer using factors such as:
Cross-sectional area
Number of parts
Part spacing
Layer complexity
Expected peeling load
The printer then selects an appropriate strategy from 18 adapted motion-control parameter sets, improving the balance between speed, stability, and print success.
Each LCD screen is factory calibrated to keep light-intensity variation across the printing area within approximately 3%, according to HeyGears laboratory data.
The printer also records light-source aging information and applies automatic light-intensity compensation, helping maintain consistent exposure throughout the service life of the printer.
The Reflex Turbo works with HeyGears Blueprint Studio, which connects model preparation, slicing, printing, and compatible post-processing devices in one workflow.
Blueprint Studio provides tools for:
Model inspection and repair
Orientation and automatic layout
Hollowing and drainage-hole creation
Automatic and manual support generation
Material and process-profile selection
Slicing
Printer management
Remote task assignment
Print-status monitoring
Firmware and process-profile updates
Print files can be transferred through USB, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet. Network access is required for cloud-based remote management and scheduling features.
The Blueprint Go mobile application can also be used to view compatible device and print-status information.
The Reflex Turbo is designed primarily for HeyGears UltraPrint resins with supported Blueprint Studio process packages.
Available material categories include:
Standard modeling resin
Precise-detail resin
Water-washable resin
Transparent resin
Flexible resin
Heat-resistant resin
PC-like engineering resin
Elastic tooling resin
Castable resin
Some materials can be printed with the standard resin tank, while others require the optional Pulsing Release Module.
Always select the material profile currently shown in Blueprint Studio, as supported materials and process packages are updated over time.
HeyGears currently promotes Open Material Mode for the Reflex RS and Reflex RS Turbo. Third-party resin parameter editing should therefore not be assumed to be available for the Reflex Turbo.
Verify current Blueprint Studio support before purchasing the printer for third-party resin use.
For compatible high-performance materials and difficult model geometries, the Reflex Turbo can be used with the first-generation HeyGears Pulsing Release Module.
The module generates alternating positive and negative pressure within the pulsing release film to reduce layer-separation force. Depending on the material and model, this can enable:
Fewer supports
Smaller support contact areas
Easier support removal
Reduced surface-finishing work
Improved printing of complex structures
The Reflex Turbo requires the Reflex/Reflex Turbo Pulsing Release Resin Tank.
PRM tanks made for the Reflex RS/RS Turbo or Reflex 2/Reflex 2 Pro are different and should not be treated as interchangeable.
The Reflex Turbo is suitable for:
Product-design prototypes
Engineering validation models
Dimension-sensitive assemblies
Transparent display components
High-detail miniatures and figures
Architectural and presentation models
Flexible and elastic prototypes
Jigs, fixtures, and tooling
Castable patterns
Small-batch resin production
