APPLICATION:
XHHW-2 Copper Wire is primarily used for power distribution in conduit or other recognized raceways for services, feeders, and branch circuit wiring as specified in the National Electrical Code. The wire is suitable for use in wet or dry locations at temperatures not exceeding 90C and is Dual-Rated for 600V or 1000V. 1/0AWG and larger are approved for cable tray use.

CONDUCTOR:
Soft drawn bare copper in compressed stranding.

INSULATION:
Abrasion, heat and moisture resistant cross-linked polyethylene insulation (XLP), low coefficient of friction. It is available in ten solid colors.

AMP RATING:
@ 90C – 130 Amps

All values are nominal and subject to correction. *Ampacities for not more than three conductors in raceway or cable or earth (directly buried), based on ambient temperature of 30C per Table 310.16 of the National Electrical Code. **Overcurrent protection shall not exceed 15 amps for #14 AWG, 20 amps for #12 AWG, and 30 amps for #10 AWG per NEC.
