Hardware Connection:

1. Use the flexible ribbon cable with a 90-degree vertical connector, located near the HDMI port. When connecting, ensure the contact/pin side is facing the HDMI port.

2. Remove the protective film from the lens before use.

3. For bareboard cameras, be cautious of ESD damage and avoid static electricity!

Software Usage:

1. Update your RPi firmware and software before using the camera by running the following commands: apt–get update

2. Open the raspi-config tool, select “Camera,” enable the camera module in the RPi firmware, and then reboot the system.

3. Use the command-line tools raspivid and raspistill to operate the camera, capturing video clips or images as needed.

4. To play the captured video clips, use a media player like mplayer.
